Thursday 28th October

Charlie's last day with us was very emotional. Thanks to the staff at Alder Hey we were able to do everything the way we wanted. We had professional photos done by a charity called 'As i lay me down to sleep' and the hospital arranged hand and footprints to be done. Everyone who wanted to had the chance to come and say goodbye properly. His passing was very peaceful and he died in our arms. It was the best we could ask for in such horrible circumstances

  2. Such an inspirational lady. I saw your story in the Examiner & even though my husband and I found it so hard to read, I am glad we did. I'm sure your gorgeous little boy Charlie will be watching down on you from heaven and will be with you always. Thankyou for sharing your story despite the tremendous pain you must be feeling. Lets work together and help this lady raise awareness. x x

  4. As a mother who lost her daughter at 13days old, I really can understand the pain and heartache. It is so nice to see how things have moved on in the sense of support for the parents. We had a few Polaroid photo's that we got replicated ASAP and we treasure them. This was 21yrs ago, and we still love and miss her. Thank you for sharing your story xx
